I love getting apps from the store because I don't have to worry about them installing more crap behind the scenes. So, either I did not download the multi-platform app; or the multi-platform app is lurking somewhere undetectable on the laptop, and will download the googlemeet files when I would try to join or host a Google Meeting. These are really annoying to deal with. I really never have a problem with this app. It used to be really laggy and have a lot of connectivity issues but this last time i used it, it seemed to have some improvements and new features.

The pop up window was the main thing i was hoping they'd implement and they did. I'm happy about not having to switch back and forth between screens anymore. And yes, it's a zoom issue, not a headset issue I use Zoom because it supposed to be the most reliable platform I am constantly being kicked off during meetings, it can be rather annoying.
